Sustain-Delay was a programme of adventurous music in Malta in 2024 and 2025.

Our last concert was held on Friday, 21 November 2025. This brought to a joyous close our two-year programme of adventurous music at the Malta Society of Arts. It showed us that not only that there is a need for experimentation and playfulness in the local scene, but also a demand, with public interest remaining very strong throughout this biennal programme.

The day after our final event, we received the wonderful news that Sustain-Delay had been shortlisted for Il-Premju għall-Arti, the national arts prize, in the Best Multidisciplinary Production category. We are elated.

We thank you all for your trust, loyalty and engagement. It has been a true pleasure.

We’ll be back later, with a different concept and name, emboldened by these great two years.
